No. The Redline Platform will only use information about the incident and not your personal details for advocacy, reporting or briefing.

Users can report any incident where the user or someone else has used their right to freedom of expression responsibly and faced repercussions, or was obstructed in using that right.

Yes you can report incidents that take place online, offline, over messages, in person or otherwise. The Redline Platform will record as much information as you can provide.

No. We only use your personal information to contact you, verify reports and provide a confirmation of your submission. It will not be shared with any third party. Please view our privacy policy here

Yes, you can report an incident on behalf of someone else or report an incident that you witnessed. The contact information you provide will still be yours so that the Redline Platform can verify the report.

Yes. Anyone can use the Redline Platform to report a violation of freedom of expression. Freedom of Expression is a foundational right and critical for every person to exercise all other fundamental rights.

The Redline Platform is not an investigating body. It will document incidents so that advocacy groups, legal practitioners, researchers as well as investigating bodies may be able to use the data for our collective efforts to protect the right to freedom of expression.

Interested litigators or investigators will contact the Redline Platform first. We will contact you and seek your consent before we connect the interested party with you.

Yes. The Redline Platform provides for you to upload different file types so that you may submit any material supporting your report.
